Executive Team

John A. Johnson, P.E. (Co-founder)

As President and CEO of CALM Energy, John Johnson is responsible for leading the company in developing and deploying computer-aided lean management solutions and services. His past experience was with Con Edison’s Strategic Planning group. He brings extensive experience in business development, electric system operations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Fred Seibel, Ph.D. (Co-founder)

Dr. Seibel is Vice President and CTO of CALM Energy. Fred leads CALM Energy’s scheduling and planning research and development services. Prior to CALM Energy, Fred was working at Columbia’s CCLS as program manager for the R&D at Con Edison. Prior to working on CALM, Fred was President of BiosGroup consulting division deploying solutions using complexity science. He was manager of Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory’s Chandra X-ray telescope data system and was a Department Manager of BBN’s Intelligent Training Department.

Roger Anderson, Ph.D. (Co-founder)

Roger Anderson leads the strategic deployment of computer-aided lean management. Roger Anderson is a Senior Scholar at Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and is a member of Columbia University’s Center for Computational Learning Systems (CCLS). He was a cofounder of Bell Geospace, an exploration company specializing in gravity gradiometry. His expertise is in the application of computational machine learning and lean management.

Albert Boulanger (Co-founder)

Albert Boulanger is a Senior Staff Associate at CCLS and a Guest Affiliate at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. He held the CTO position of vPatch Technologies and was a researcher at BBN. Albert Boulanger’s specialties are in complex systems integration and intelligent reasoning components that interact with humans in large scale systems
